As I have mentioned so many times the holidays can be stressful for SO many reasons. Lucky we can have a self-care plan to keep us in the right frame of mind. I recently started a new job, on top of all the other things I do, so it has been a huge adjustment. So I am sharing so Holiday-themed self-care ideas today, some of which I have used, and some I am looking forward to trying.
Take a bath with a Christmas bath bomb!
Drive around at look at Christmas lights.
Eat your favorite festive food. (Remember all food can be enjoyed.)
Exercise with some Christmas music.
Light a festive candle.
Journal about how you are feeling.
Watch some Vlogmas Videos.
Christmas facemask. (Yes, these are a real thing.)
Get a festive Mani/Pedi.
Watch Christmas movies with a hot mug of hot chocolate.
Go ice skating.
Remember you're allowed to say NO.
Bake some Christmas cookies, or whatever your favorite treat is.
Do some crafting.
Write some Christmas cards.
Clean out your closet, to make room for anything you may be getting for Christmas.
Start a new holiday tradition.
Write down some things you are grateful for.
Color some festive pictures.
I hope this helps you plan some of your self-care time. Remember stress and anxiety happen, but we can try and deal and elevate it.
