It's almost the end of the year, we are right in the swing of the Christmas season. Which is often referred to as the time of giving. During this season lots of people give and donate, time, money, used/new clothes and toys and love to some less fortunate. Today I am giving you ideas and things I personally do to give back!
1) Donate blood, it's free for you to do and sometimes you even get something in return like the blood bank by me gives out free movie tickets, it's a win/win situation. Remember just one pint of donated blood can save up to three lives!!!!
2) Visit some senior citizens. A lot of these folks don't have a family or a family that visits regularly. Sometimes a simple thing of just having a conversation with them makes their day! Also, let's be honest old people are the best!
3) Send a care package to a soldier, write a simple letter thanking these men and women for their service and include a few goodies, like candy, soap, homemade craft, etc.
4) Donate money to your favorite charity, whether it be a local charity or a nationally recognized one.

6) If you don't recycle, start recycling!
7) Donate your old clothes to a local shelter! Clear out and simplify your life for 2020, and have a closet clear out. Another win/win situation!
8) Volunteer your time at your local soup kitchen! This is a great one for families to all do together.
9) If you live by a beach like I use to participate in a beach clean up. Help out our oceans by picking up trash.
These are only a few examples, I would love to know some of the ways you give back.
