2017 Resolutions


New year, new me is such bull.... For me the new year is improving the parts of my life that I am not happy with and getting organized.

So here are the few things I want to improve on.

1.Drink more water,I drink so much lemonade, coffee and sweet tea it's a little bit unhealthy, I will never order water at restaurant why would you when you can have sweet but from now on, more water less sweet tea.

2.Ask for help when I need it, I am so terrible at asking for help I would rather struggle and get stressed out than ask for help and that is me just letting my pride get in the way and if I asked for help it would save me a lot of time and head aches.

3.Exercise, at the moment I almost never exercise so my goal is at least twice a week, just for some me time and studies show that even twice a week is enough to see a few benefits.

4.Save more and spend less, I am a sucker for a sale for new Lilly Pulitzer releases and I throw how much things cost and what I have in the bank right out the window, so id really like to start saving 60% of my paycheck and only having the 40% and whatever I make from the few random tutoring and babysitting jobs to pay the bills then whatever is left from that be for spending. I spent way to much in 2016 and some of it was an impulse buy so I really need to start thinking about money.

5. Start reading, I use to love just having quite time and diving into a great book but that slowly vanished and I need to start doing a few more things for me and this is one.

6.Stop skipping breakfast, I skip breakfast A LOT for many reasons and I really need to start having and enjoying the most important meal of the day.

7. Replace the negative self talk with the positive, I am such a negative self talker I will stand in the mirror sometimes and just put myself down and I hate doing that to myself.

8. Get more sleep, thanks to Netflix I get caught in a binge watch cycle and will stay up all night to binge watch.

9.Eat healthier, this is one of the most popular resolutions but it is something that needs to be done, I love fruits and veggies but I also am in a committed relationship to Chick-Fil-A.

10. Stop worrying about what people think of me and the negative things and just be stay positive
